Allocation & Limits
Organisations with a token balance can move tokens to member user wallets so individuals have capacity for AI and other usage. Admins can also set default monthly and daily limits for how much each member may draw from allocations in a given period, and override those defaults for specific members when needed.
Allocating tokens
The only allocation path from an organisation wallet is to member user wallets. There are no separate campus or course wallets to fund.
Organisation admins purchase token packages, then allocate amounts to one or more members (including bulk allocation to many members at once). Members see the tokens in their personal user wallet.
Allocations respect permissions between wallets; admins manage who may receive tokens and how much.
Tokens can be allocated freely within the platform but cannot be sold or exchanged for real money. Tokens are a resource management tool, not a financial instrument.
Setting limits
Organisation defaults: Admins can define default monthly and daily limits that apply to all member allocation targets unless overridden.
Per-member overrides: For each member, admins can set custom monthly and daily allocation limits that take precedence over the default for that person.
When a limit is reached, further draw from that allocation relationship is blocked for the current day or month — other members are unaffected.
These limits govern token movement / usage from allocated balances between the organisation wallet and member wallets. They are separate from hosting and storage bills, which are charged to owner wallets as described in Storage billing and Wallets & billing.
Purchasing tokens
The minimum purchase is 2€ (200 tokens). Larger packages receive automatic bulk discounts:
| Package size | Discount |
|---|---|
| 10€ and above | 5% |
| 50€ and above | 10% |
| 100€ and above | 15% |
| 500€ and above | 20% |
| 1,000€ and above | 25% |
| 5,000€ and above | 30% |
Use the calculator below to estimate monthly token needs for hosting, storage, and member AI budget based on your expected scale:
Adjust the scenario to see approximate monthly token spend using the same rates as production billing (hosting, storage beyond the free tier, and member AI budget).
First campus is free for hosting.
First three courses are free for hosting.
Used to scale per-member AI budget from the organisation wallet. Organisation storage includes 1 GB free total (not per member).

Estimates only. Hosting uses 10 tokens per member per month on campuses and courses beyond the free tier (1 free campus, 3 free courses). Storage uses ~4.0 tokens per GB per month after 1 GB free for the organisation (shared). User uploads use 1 GB free per user. One token = 0.01 €.
Frequently asked questions
Can tokens be transferred between users? Tokens cannot be sent directly from one personal account to another. Organisation admins may allocate from the organisation wallet to member user wallets. Personal users can only use their own balance or receive organisation allocations.
Do purchased tokens expire? No. Purchased tokens never expire and roll over month to month indefinitely. Only free monthly allocations reset.
Can I get a refund for unused tokens? Tokens cannot be refunded or exchanged for money. Plan purchases based on actual usage needs.
